I made this painting to help Ganryu expand his following. I saw his work first at Eurofurence last year and enjoyed those portraits very much and started following his artistic endeavors since. Back when that unknown artist meme was making it's rounds I noticed that he was barely above the 100 follower mark and decided I would paint a portrait of one of his characters to maybe inspire some more people to go check his work out. (:
