I ended up calling him Jared and I literally created him spontaniously while watching the Sun & Moon anime recently and decided to keep him. I even fleshed his personality out a little already.

some random facts:
-16 y/o
-I had to make him an orphan because there would be absolutely NO good reason for him to run from home and join a gang of thugs lol
-calm natured
-sleeps ALOT. He can literally fall asleep anywhere and anytime.
-avoids trouble but keeps getting into trouble thanks to his bad sleeping habits
-a good listener
-he sees Team Skull and even officer Nanu as his family- he sees Nanu as something like his father figure
-kinda popular among the team thanks to his 'unusual' Pokemon
-he's suuuper proud of his Leafeon, Daisy. You better don't talk about Leafeon while he's around
-he's very short. Barely any bigger than Ash or any of the protagonist kids, so he's noticably the smallest grunt
