About 13 years ago in the Spring,
purplelimeade had an issue with her computer that nearly cost her years of her personal work and posted a journal asking for help to salvage her data. I posted a reply to see if I could and then gave her a word-for-word description of what to do. A few hours later, her computer was functioning again and we quickly became friends. She wanted to gift me with art for helping save her computer, so we both mutually agreed that the artwork would be of something we both have a love for: Tekken.
This is the second image she has done for me with Vile Vertigo garnished in Lee Chaolan's outfit from Tekken 7, with a bit of PL's own personal touch added in and it is absolutely astounding. She wanted to try new things out, and I'm always willing to be the Guinea Pig fort something new when it means that my Character is going to be a prototype for something cool. The way she did Vile's Tail Fur looks as if it is a White Gold Fire with Platinum highlights, which definitely works in sync with his fanciful attire.
The most intriguing part of his attire is the intricate embroidery on the left sleeve of his Overcoat. I was told that she took the liberty to draw it from scratch while basing it off the reference images she was using. She even included a very specifcally included pattern in it unique to Lee that only players of the character would recognize almost immediately when they see it. Can you see it?
When I saw the Unblockable Impact gleam on his foot, I really felt it mirrored what is digitally done. I also really love what she did with his hair, long and healthy luxurious shine.
I waited so long for these to be done and I am very satisfied with what was produced. The long awaited timeframe gave her the chance to evolve her style and to put everything she's learned and/or perfected, even on the spot (The Embroidery was quite literally the Icing on the Cake/A little something extra).
