Drakiti are a creation from my books. They are like kobolds a bit, except they have certain traits and aren't owned by a big company. If you like them, feel free to make your own, and maybe give my books a read (I'll finish the third one, honest)
They were created, in part, for the amusement of a dark lord. Leading to some of their traits.
Traits of the Drakiti:
- They can have any combination of scales, hide, fur and feathers.
- They may have horns of different styles, fins, spines, hair, or none.
- They come in just about any color.
- Drakiti have big floppy ears.
- Drakiti are inherently submissive. They can try and fight or ignore these urges, of course. But because of that they frequently end up serving someone.
- If a Drakiti has a 'master', they generally aren't pushed to be submissive to others. As the need to serve is being filled.
- They have dragon blood and will set off anything that detects such.
- They have venom enhanced with their energies, biting a person and injecting it will transform that person into a drakiti.
- Trying to cure the drakiti 'curse' will usually result in the energy reflecting back and transforming the person who tried into a drakiti.
- Because of these traits, evil people who employ drakiti tend to try and get them to create more, especially from annoying heroes and adventurers.
- Any changes that do not effect them being a drakiti can still happen (like being turned into a statue or a plushie)
- Drakiti have soft, leathery hand and paw pads.
- They do not have wings
- They do not have any sort of breath weapon.
- Drakiti adults average about 3 feet tall.
- Drakiti are stronger than they look. But when you factor in their size, they are generally as strong as an adult human.
- They live a few hundred years.
- Due to their magical origin, drakiti are inherently more magical than average creatures, and make good mages and such if they can learn to wield it.
- Every drakiti has a unique 'ability' of a magical nature, though these are usually not very impressive. Such as changing the color of something they touch, or talking to flowers.
- Drakiti can combine their abilities to create stronger, different ones.
- Drakiti lay eggs, usually one at a time.
