i keep hearing people tell me its just ~horrible~ to give your dogs. and im like im sure cat poop is too probably.

man, i totally have a sketch of him sneaking a cupcake.

I was thinking about a jack russell we had that would try to eat/play with things waaaayyy too big for his mouth and watching him trying to pick up rocks was amazing

LOL We have a lab mix who likes to tote around big pieces of rock and chunks of wood. Doesn't chew them just carries them around with tongue awkwardly lolling out of her mouth. Very funny.

Cupcakes are good too. :P But ALAS, Rawhides are probably better for dogs.

my cousins golden used to retrive rocks you couldn't thrown them into water cause he would go after them and not come back up without that one rock.

I work at a vet clinic and we actually recommend rawhide because it helps work off the tartar on their teeth.

that's pretty awesome.

I think the bad things i've heard were like... its not very nutritional or its processed or something like that? I dunno. My dogs enjoy them every now and again

Well they're not nutritious but if they're just being used for a chew toy nutrition doesn't matter, and they aren't harmful to dogs unless the dog manages to swallow a chunk of it. My dog has rawhides all the time and most of the vets I know recommend them :)
