-Average lifespan: 100 years in nature, up to 130 in captivity

-Habitat: Mostly found in warm, tropical parts of the Pacific Ocean

-Population: Estimated to be roughly 200,000 worldwide

-Average height: 80 feet from head to tentacle tip

-Diet: Fish and small amphibious creatures
