Oh, sweet. I played that game where they got those costumes from. "Puzzle Bobble Journey". Unlocked all characters and got them to their max levels over the course oover a year. Such a shame that they didn't add in all of the levels/chapters from the Eastern release. Because of that you can only get until level 1110 (and Bub and Bob won't turn back into Humans in the Western release; one might say that's a win, hehe. X3).
Yeah, played all through it and enjoyed the new game mechanics for that one. There are lots of fun bubble powers. Very addicting. If it would have been some toony scenario, I swear that game could have transformed some people via rainbow bubbles into more Bubble Dragons, hehehe. ^_^

Oh, my! I should focus more on your artwork. It definitely does do the characters great justice. Nice resemblence and the whole paw growth idea is surely one of the toony subjects I'd find fun to try out with my Totodile mascot Shiny someday. Inflations, transformations, I like all the fun'n'fantastic, colorful and happy. Cute and cool characters from games and various other media as well as what people in our creative community come up with and pour their heart and talent into are all great. =D

So yeah, nice work, Rad. The coloring, effect words, dynamic designs and detailing here make your work rather vibrant and popping. You can be very proud of the way everything came out. I'm sure your dude and a lot of peopel will get a bright smile from this funfilled illustration of yours. As my Shiny would phrase it: "That looks totodily fun!" (-^.=.^-)

I love Bubble Bobble but never played Journey, but seeing their designs in that game was really inspiring so I rolled with it~ Plot is all about the paw growth and I thought it was pretty cool myself in terms of interesting ways to grow~

Hehe, growth in general is neato. Shiny would likely take it all with amusement whether some potion would give him a Yoshi'esque snoot or some zip-zapper beam inflated his tail and made him go for a balloon ride of giggling proportions where he see's everything from an upside-down perspective. Shiny's dudes know that he most of the time takes such things as surprises and not to tease him in a mean way. Sharing the fun comes in a bunch of shapes and some are wackier than others, hehe. =D
Other than that all I can say on Shiny's behalf, is that he will do his best to keep staying a happy Totodude.

Hehe, just kidding around. Glad when people enjoy my Totodile mascot wisth me. I still hold onto that cute group pic from the holidays where Bastien was so kind to include our OCs in. Having friendly encounters through arts, chats and the sorts all connect us with each other and we get to express our playful imagination and what inspires us. I hope that I can have many opportunities to see what others think Shiny could be fun to involve in yet as well as how he might help others to feel encouraged in their personal projects either. ^_^
