Can someone else's shading be your own in the sense of a learnt skill or is it more of an inherent style in an individual's art? I don't know drawn art, but I find when making metalwork there is a degree of a distinct individual style which is hard to replicate.

Well i studied this person work and they added the style of shading im using here later and kinda perfected it.
Im trying to see how they got there by emulating it.
So its kinda mine at the end but i borrowed it from someone else to start.
Its still gonna have my personal drawing traits but i just add elements of thwir work to see if they mic well with mine. If it does i can keep it and change it to better suit my work if it doesnt i dont keep it.
