on a cluster of island where ages ago, as a large scaled war against dragon kin took place across the world, one selkie women led the warriors of the island against flights of great scaled beast merely passing through their lands, their homes, their domain seing it as nothing more than a short stretch of grassy terrain and inflicted defeat upon defeat on massive dragons until the humiliating losses forced them to retreat (with the history being quite fuzzy on the details and being mostly exaggerated folklore after several generation.)
then, upon a storm shaken day the great, great, great, great grand-daughter of said legendary ancestor was given birth to, baring horns, scales and a large tail of a glimmering and vibrant red, features resembling that of the draconic general that once tried to invade the islands, making it undoubtable for the different leaders of the various villages that the disgruntled and sore loser of a general once cursed the mighty ancestor's bloodline . (for those who know about this specific sorcerer subclass you can already guess that there is much more to it and that this 'history' might not have unfolded as everyone thinks)

years later, this same infant, now a grown and fierce women takes her pelt with her and leaves her homeland in search of the cowardly dragon, determined to break the bane thrown upon her family line on a journey through self discovery and a brand new world.
