Had this character on the drawing board for a lil while now and finally got his pic done. So boys and girls meet Seevus. Seevus here is a bit of an odd guy. Seevus was created through genetic modification of the human genome. This involved making him stronger, smarter, faster, powerful mental abilities, increased regeneration rates, removal of useless organs, and enhanced senses. The goals of the scientist who created him was to created an improved version of humans. One which would make a fine warrior. This particular scientist had quite a large ego and god complex though. He assumed that his creation would think as he did and as such have great respect for him and do his bidding. Well thanks to knowledge imprints in Seevus' maturation tank and a much more efficient brain with a more active frontal lobe Seevus had his own ways of thinking. The scientist had aspirations of galactic domination. Seevus however upon awakening and learning more and getting a good look at his creator decided that this wasn't something he wanted. Eventually this lead to a confrontation. Seevus killed his own creator with ease in the ensuing fight. It was quick and the scientist didn't suffer too much. Seevus grabbed his arm, broke it while wrenching the gun from his hand and then delivered a point blank shot to his forehead. He describes this as. "A quick and efficient kill."
After all this Seevus made his way out into the galaxy. Being stronger and faster then other humans, and possessing very powerful mental abilities beyond what naturally occurred in humans he found the galaxy quite a diverse place. Although many parts of it were shining becons of unity and civilization there were other parts that were more chaotic. At the end of the day though wherever he went there as always somebody who wanted somebody dead. So Seevus sold his services to those that wanted someone else removed. He only took certain jobs not wanting to kill innocents. When it came to people getting in his way he developed a philosophy. "Only take what your foe will give you. If he flees and leaves then he has decided to keep his life. If he stands firm after offer and attacks then he has given you his life. No guilt in taking it then." Seevus has come to enjoy his life. He 's fond of learning the customs of the places he visits and trying local foods and enjoying the cultures. He helps some of the common people he meets if he can.
His views on most religions are light. He considers many of them poetic and fine stories to try and explain what at the time could not be explained. But he follows none himself. Explaining it to others as. "The questions people turn to god to answer I already have the answers too. Who made me? Where do I come from? Why was I made? What is my purpose? Where will I go when I die? Dr. Joveck made me. I come from a maturation tank in a remote space station at the edge of human domain. I was made to fight. I give myself my own purpose. I need not go to a deity for these answers." He has no qualms with others seeking out a faith though so long as it harms no one else. Which is why he takes issue with many of the religion of his own species.
