Shield Gauntlet: Wraps around the arm, projects an adjustable energy shield that protects against both projectile and energy attacks. Able to absorb energy attacks to increases shield strength. Kinetic attacks depletes the shield energy. Excessive energy attacks can cause shield overload, unless vented through kinetic impact or thermal release. Shield overload causes an emergency shutdown and plasma discharge.
