This story was inspired by a cute illustration of a wolf family drawn by Ravenwolf. The bemused looks of the parents, along with the kids' expressions and the son's puffed-out fur, struck my fancy. I was inspired of this story to explain this scene.

Heh, good point! Luckily I think that like with any skill, it needs to be honed over time, so it wouldn't be too powerful at first, more like static electricity. And like other things kids learn as they're getting older, one would hope that it'd be done under proper adult supervision and guidance.
