Yeah I agree. Its pretty sad that like many artist he got famous for something that was so a-typical for his style. Think my favorite thing about his style is that he has absolutely no problem slowing down and speeding up the song to help drive some his poetic ideas home. I also recorded Vincent and Sister Fatima today, I'll be uploading them over the coarse of the week.
