By now I'm pretty sure you all know how much I love Avatar so is it any real surprise I draw up a new Avatar related pic shortly after the release of the movie on DVD? XD. Well this character here is one I've had in my head for a lil bit and I'm quite happy with how he's turned out. Boys and girls meet Tomas. He's been described as both a cynic and a genius. Tomas here is the son of a wealthy CEO back on earth. He holds several degrees in biology, computer technology, and astrology. His father had hoped Tomas would get into the business world but Tomas wanted little to do with it. He and his father were not on good terms. His father died shortly before the Avatar program was announced to begin. Tomas was sick of being around so many of his own people. Sick of the greed and ignorance all around him. So he used the money he inherited from his father to privately set up his own lab on Pandora and got himself into the Avatar program. After a short while he his his Avatar body back at his lab and faked his own death. At which point he slinked off to his private lab and continued his own research. He got to know some of the local Na'vi pretty well. Not long after he faked his death he decided his human body on Pandora was more of a liability and eventually found an artificial means to use a link pod to permanently upload his mind to his Avatar Body. He was close with one Na'vi woman for a while. Her mate had died a year ago. The relationship went well for a while but she contracted an illness and died quickly. She left her son to Tomas' care. He's now taken on the task of raising the boy and teaching him all he has to teach while making sure he learns the ways of his own people as well. Overall Tomas is happy with his new life on Pandora and is even happier now to see the RDA has been kicked off of the planet. He's currently working on defenses for Pandora should they come back though. He hopes to have at least one Orbital cannon manufactured within the year and set up into orbit. Should humans return to Pandora Tomas doesn't plan on being caught on the side lines like he was in the last major battle.
