REF - Mizuna Arizaku
I... recently got my hands on Shinobi Strikers on the PS4, and needless to say it's resparked a bit of my supressed love for the Naruto universe. This baby was LONG overdue for an official remake, too, being my first ever OC I think I ever posted on dA way back when, and probably my most official "persona" character outside of my furry-counterparts.
So! Allow me to introduce, to my old followers and new, the new and improved Mizuna Arizaku!
Also, here's their (un)official voice claim: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzMvqv_3nfM
--- Backstory ---
For several generations, the Arizaku clan has worked as a Konoha-based agency to “collect, contain, and defend” mythical and semi-mythical creatures that are discovered across the shinobi world. They strive to help protect these creatures from hunters and poachers, and if they are deemed unable to peacefully coexist alongside their human neighbors they are then either relocated to a remote location or captured and sealed within an object (usually an orb, doll, or scroll) so they do not cause harm to others. These objects are often bought by highly skilled ninja who swear to care for and rehabilitate these creatures so that they may in time reintegrate into the world, and may at some point even be used for summoning jutsu.
Their main targets are “minor tailed beasts” (tanuki, nekomata, kitsune, etc) that have not received status as a “major tailed beast” (shukaku, gyuki, kyuubi, etc). Minor Tailed Beasts are creatures that are born by unknown means, but it is speculated that they come about by absorbing large quantities of Major Tailed Beast chakra that's left behind from their emergences, thus transforming them and creating an entirely new breed of mythical species in the world.
When they were a child, Mizuna accidentally dropped and shattered one of these orbs containing the spirit of a deceased minor-tailed kitsune named Anba. The spirit, having no living body to possess, latched onto their body and took control of it for her own. Anba, confused and vengeful, embarked on a hellish rampage in an attempt to vanquish what she saw as those that murdered her in life. Though her new body was young and she could not completely harness her strength within it, and soon after her rampage began it ended. But despite the clan's efforts, they could not remove the spirit without possibly damaging Mizuna's body and soul in the process. Thus, in a last-ditch effort to contain the spirit, Anba was properly sealed within Mizuna's body, locking her consciousness and chakra away so it would not overtake them again.
Though the sealing immediately helped preserve local safety it isn't by any means perfect, and on several occasions during moments of emotional weakness her power would slip through the seal, causing Mizuna to once again go on a fiery rampage. It was one of these rampages that caused them to accidentally become trapped beneath a pile of fiery rubble, scorching half their body beneath the weight of the pressing inferno. Despite all the time spent in recovery, the right half of their body is still marred by a large burn scar as a memory of this painful event.
Mizuna has a deep affiliation for the arts. While they're most fond of drawn work, they are rather skilled with sculpture as well. Their modeled creatures often take the form of animals, monsters, mythical beasts, and chimeras, their preferred subjects to paint and craft. The bulk of their jutsu are either fire-based or artistically based; they quickly learned and adopted the way of the Super-Beast Scroll as their primary technique, and through the Ninjutsu VR portal they trained under the uploaded consciousness of Deidara, adopting a modified version of his explosive sculpture technique as their own. Their goal in life is to create something worthy of being remembered; to make their mark on history in one way or another; to not be forgotten.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like them!
And trust me, I feel exactly the same way. For a show that's put so much effort into tying up loose ends where they might possibly even be found, it's frustrated me to no end how much of the world still feels so neglected and empty! My integration of their clan's role in the shinobi society along with various other revisions I'm making to the story for RP purposes are part of my attempts to put back into the world what I feel like it so desperately deserved from the beginning ^^
