From where they come from, pretty much any species can procreate with any other species, and the children will be either one species, the other, or come out a hybrid, but those are rare.
I mean, they have to procreate somehow, can't just be sticking to the same species if they want a normal-sized population. lol

I'm with danethefurry on this one. For these to be living, breathing, viable lifeforms, you have to assume that the world these fictional creatures live in is similar to ours. And while danethefurry and I can probably agree that in a furry world, parents of two different breeds or species can make viable offspring (it happens on Arthur all the time, it seems), it stretches credibility for two people (for lack of a better word) to mate and have fraternal twin offspring of the same species.
Though oddly, this would be more credible if the tiger-guy was a girl.
