Years after his father's death, Rorwarr had begun learning to feel the Force, and let it guide him in his search for vengeance. A wookiee Manhunter, he was effective and deadly: clever enough to conceal his lightsaber except in the most dire circumstances, and capable of maintaining low visibility in the post-Galactic War galaxy. When he found his quarry residing in a small Imperial Remnant mining outpost on a small jungle planet, he thought himself ready to slay the Imperial Officer who had betrayed his father...only to be captured, and forced to become slave labor for the Imperials.
These dark days were short however, as a young Jedi Apprentice from the New Jedi Order arrived on a mission to liberate the miners, and destroy the Remnant's operations. Once freed, Rorwarr immediately charged into the base's corridors, determined to slay his target...only to find the Officer had escaped. Surrounded, he would have been executed, had the Jedi not followed him. The remaining Imperials were defeated, and Rorwarr's frustration at having lost his quarry was replaced with gratitude towards the Jedi who had saved him from the consequences of his recklessness. The Jedi, known as Kelruun, offered even more to the wookiee: an opportunity to learn the ways of The Force, among the other students of the Jedi Academy.
His training wasn't perfect. After a year of study and practice, he was suddenly informed where the Imperial Officer had fled, and he abandoned the Academy in order to complete his hunt. While successful, Rorwarr's education in The Force made him realize how close he had come to crossing a line that would have rendered him forever alone, given in fully to the dark side. Through the friendship of his new allies, and the open-minded compassion offered by Kelruun, Rorwarr succeeded in finding balance in the Force. Putting aside the red-crystal lightsaber of his father, Rorwarr crafted his own weapon, intent on using it for good: to pursue justice, instead of vengeance.

That's definitely where he was at for the time before he finished his hunt for vengeance, which was a good year or so. But he's in a very Kyle Katarn-esque place now: he's felt the pull of the Dark Side, and even now lets himself stay close to it, knowing how its power can help him overcome challenges. Besides, he pursues Justice...but justice according to whom?
He's more of a badass vigilante now...and he still has that red lightsaber...
(And super many thanks for the compliment! I've been in a pretty strong Star Wars mood lately, super glad it's brought back inspiration to do some renders that folks can enjoy!! ♥ ♥ ♥ )
