Taking a quick break from "Moonflowers" because I'm getting completely sick of digital painting. This is an old character of mine, but... now she's a cat.
I've always had a lot of trouble deciding how to ink hair, especially when it's white. Not quite sure if this works yet.
I haven't decided if I want her name read as 龍鬼, or something a little more pleasant like 柳綺, so I'm just using katakana for now.

Both this and the companion piece really rock - good character design on both, delightfully loose and lively inking

FWIW, I think it works well, it fits the overall style of the pic (alternatively, go for wavy lines for the hair?)

Wow, thank you! I'm very flattered.
I usually do wavier lines but then I also tend to go crazy and draw way too many swooping hair lines (in my opinion, anyway--since with white hair I'm always trying to tread the fine line between balancing texture and color). I thought I'd try a harder-lined approach and I'm glad you think it works; I'll probably experiment with the technique some more.
