I made this traditional drawing of a dragon a while ago while listening to some 80s / rock music.

The photo may be a bit blurry because I took it with an iPhone 6 and there wasn’t a lot of light.

To make this drawing, I first created the sketch using a mechanical pencil. Then I made the line art with a Micron pen. After this I colored the drawing with different Windsor & Newton markers. I also colored over a few areas with colored pencil to add highlights and texture, but it isn’t very noticeable in the final picture.

I don’t make traditional art like this very often because my hand shakes a lot, which makes drawing the outlines and fine details frustrating. While making this drawing, I accidentally colored over the the edges of the line art often.

I am still new to using markers for drawing and I learned a lot from making this piece.

I really like the way the colors on the dragon look. I spent a long time working on shading and blending the colors together.

Even though there are some mistakes, I really like it. :)
