Octina wanted to see what the beach was like, so she asked Gene to take her there before the Summer was over. Of course, he obliged without argument. This would've also been a good opportunity for him to get some more physical exercise in. In their swimsuits, they set up on a public beach and have a good time. Octina especially liked watching Gene working out; she was interested in seeing how he got is body looking so strong compared to other Inklings. Also, lots of other boys noticed her with her seagull bikini, which kinda set some of their girlfriends off. But to Gene and Octina, it was a good day to relax and have a good time together (he wondered if this would be considered a date while she was just happy being with him)
...I really need to work on my perspective work. Even with a reference, I thought that I could get Gene's push-up pose right, but his lower half gave me the most trouble. ...I really need to get one of those tabletop posing mannequins for my artwork one of these days.
