So this is a series inspired by a stupid game on facebook actually. Cafe World if you've heard of it, but in this game you are a chef of a cafe and you have friends and visit their cafe's to get points. Generally if you have any decent number of friends this can be like 15+ meals a day. Imagine what this would do to your figure! Anyway, so it inspired me to do a short (only 6 images) of a senario where Zuri finds herself jobless and attempts to make money doing something she loves to do. Eating! So, on with the show.
Zuri had been laid off only a week ago and already she was staring at a pile of bills on her desk. With a heavy sigh she turned back to her computer and clicked idly, surfing through job ads and the odd ' make money at home' article. A twitter popup on one of her aps, caught her attention "Make money doing and talking about what you love. An article on blogging professionally." Zuri's ear twitched as she clicked curiously on the article title. It took her to a blogging page, and she read the contents curiously at first, and then with more and more intense interest.
"Wow. This actually sounds like something I could do!" The girl told herself, and pondered what she would like to write about most. Her eyes settled on a box of doughnuts that sat on her desk, a by product of depression.
"Well I like eating. Maybe I could review restaurants! I'd get lots of free food." The tigress giggled to herself, imagining all the places she would love to have an excuse to eat at. Maybe even eat free! Zuri licked her lips at the thought and began putting her plan in action.
A little less than three days later, her blog was live, with a nice design, and her first few articles. Her first restaurant was one of her favorites, Chez Pére, a restaurant known for wonderful french cooking and the extremely generous portions. Her post began with a picture of herself in front of the restaurant's sign, and then her review followed.
"Hi there everyone, my name is Zuri Tigress and this is my first post in this blog of what I hope will be many more! My first review is Chez Pére, and he was nice enough to plan a special dinner for me to taste a little of every dish he serves. Pére is such a peach and a wonderful chef to boot. Trained in France and among the top of his class, he came to America to start his own restaurant and bring a little France here. So far he's opened three restaurants, all of them known for their delicious food, and extremely generous portions. When I arrived in their beautiful dining room I was immediately seated, with little wait by the kind and courteous staff. Complimentary wine is served to each new customer, but Pére likes me so I got a little more than a glass. I didn't have to wait long before the appetizer course came out, a wonderful selection of breads and cheeses, with Escargot stuffed mushrooms and olives, Crudites in lemon oil, Gougeres, and a savory Millas. Once I was done that he brought out a plate of bacon wrapped figs and Oyster fritters to enjoy as well as a bowl of french onion soup. After that, we got onto the main meal courses..."
