Jayson's Star-Wing - Quasar Leader/Quasar Squadron colors
Well: at the prompting of
MarcusStarkiller I finally actually did a proper multi-view of Jayson's Star Wars universe fighter. I've been using this white with lavender "starburst" color pattern for his ships for a bit now but never worked out a formal "system" for them until now. Also added some darker blue ones down the sides a bit inspired by both Starfox and the colors of the Snowbirds (Canada's version of the Blue Angels). Also gave him Imperial Ace stripes (the Royal Guard red bands) ala the 128th and 181st Imperial Interceptor Squadrons.
So, here we have Jayson's Alpha XG-1 Star-wing fighter... though given this one is a little more streamlined than some depictions of the XG-1 suppose this could be an XG-2 or something to that effect. I've always had a soft-spot for this one; both because it was a favorite from the old X-wing/TIE Fighter games, but also because I love alternate timeline stuff and there's an interesting one to be imagined where-in this became the Empire's main-stay fighter instead of the TIE LN. To some degree she's an "Imperial X-wing", in much the same way the TIE Hunter and TIE Defender are.
