SDRT Starblade
Playing around with car designs again, this time totally freehand. Obviously just a rough sketch, even if I can't say it was exactly a quick one.
Concept sketches for the Starblade, a fictional supercar by the equally fictional StarDragon Racing Technology subdivision of the also fictional StarDragon Automotive Corporation. The Starblade is a mid-engined all wheel drive two seater coupe that goes fast and looks insane, as all proper supercars should. Credit where it's due,
dragon-architect is responsible for that mad rear and tail light design. The spoiler design is inspired by Koenigsegg, much of the overall shape by Lamborghini, and the headlights by the Gumpert Apollo.

I like this. It's got that supercar look, that thing that makes the 10-year old boy in me go VROOOOM xD Wow you fit a lot of characteristic looks from various companies together nicely. This reminds me of um, the ASL Garaiya, I think it's called. A car in GT4. :} And nice slightly different color blue for brighter areas, it gives more real light to the car.
Thanks, really glad you like! :) I definitely did something right if it awakens your inner 10-year-old, all proper supercars should do that. ;) I had fun fitting it together, borrowing ideas here and there but trying to make it look like its own car with its own style. And with the lighting I was hoping that sorta two-tone look would make it look a little more metallic or something. ^^
Sadly I tried with GTA4 and it just reeeeeeeeeeally didn't work for me. I really struggled with the controls and the difficulty curve and just nuffin worked right for me so I ended up selling it back. :} I wanted to like it but it just didn't end up being compatible with me. >..<
