This is part of my living room. On this small spool, turned on its side, I share the beauty of tea with friends, roommates, and even people I've never met. Because tea is for sharing. Because that is the true beauty of tea.

Sharing is the true beauty of tea..!
I love your ultra-modern take on the Korean/Chinese tea ceremony. We are very impressed with your tea collection in the background. Did you make those shelves too? (Satyr made ours out of bamboo stained purple.)
Now we have to ask what your favorite tea is!

My spouse loves white tea, Silver Needle in particular. I like Mei Cha, when I can get it but my preference is for Dragon Well because it's easier to find in America so it's often better quality when you get it. My absolute favorite tea in the world is Kuradashi Kukicha blended with matcha. It makes a foamy cloudy bright green cup that you have to drink within minutes of brewing before it oxidizes. We often order our tea directly from Japan via Ebay but our favorite online store is EnjoyingTea.com.
I love your little teapot, do you use it for just one kind of tea? I find that unglazed teapots (although my favorite) will hold an odor so I had to have one specifically just for when I drank Jasmine tea.
Hurray for tea!

And I have a special kyusu for green tea, but aside from that I use a glazed kyusu for my fine teas. I have a large cast iron pot for larger batches of inexpensive brew, which I will actually carry with me to work or class. People know me as "tea guy" because I'm often seen with this large teapot.
The Satyr used to commute to school on the train back when she lived in Germany, one time when she was visiting her parents she found the most amazing red clay Yixing teapot for $3.50 at a flea market. Her parents teased her that she looked like a hobbit riding the train with her leather backpack and a teapot tied up in twine!
We are both also obsessive tea carriers! The Satyr goes as far as to carry a thermometer for water temperature while brewing abroad. At other people's houses or work etc. We even have a small copper teapot/kettle that we take camping and backpacking. XD
