So. I found the most cringe thing ever. I found the first story I ever wrote, as well as the "IMPROVED" rewrite I did a few years after. While I cringed so hard my asshole collapsed into its own dimension, rediscovering old OCs and their story was fun.  koof1313 suggested I turn the OCs into yinglets, and I might just do so!
