How I do it, I do it... I even managed to turn this one into a car story! This story is inspired by one of the words from my "pick a number" journal;
renohidaka came up with the word "vixen".
Now, I could have done something with a new vixen character for Celeste to make friends with. I could have done something with my own fursona Zinzoline and her adopted vixen daughter. I could have done something with an older vixen character of mine, if I would have searched through my old characters to see if there's a vixen in there. Or I could have done something with a newly created vixen character.
But, I am a car nut. Therefore, Celeste is a car nut. I also am a child of the 1980's, and Celeste is a true 80's girl.
Now, automotively speaking, the 1980's were a very good decade for cute models, or at least cute names on models. There was the VW Rabbit. The VW Fox. The Fiat Panda. The Hyundai Pony. The Mitsubishi Colt (young male horse, for those of you who don't know that). Of course, in that decade and also other decades, there were the Ford Mustang. The Mercury Cougar. The Pontiac Phoenix. And many many more that I can't remember from the top of my head.
But how much more furry can a car get than the lovely, built only from 1986 to 1989, Vixen TD motorhome? That is what I used for this here story! This here vehicle! (link)
I totally want one! But well... that'll always be a dream, most likely. But the next best thing I could do, was to give Celeste one!
So here you go! A Vixen story! And not how you'd expect it! Or maybe exactly how you'd expect it, knowing me, and knowing Celeste...

Hee, thank you, dear! And well, who knows? There might be a story to tell about that extra week of their road trip, although I admit, I hadn't really planned on anything extra-ordinary; it was just Cee wanting to have this road trip a week longer so they could tour around a lot more in the new RV she had bought
I suspect, knowing what Cee's like, that the fact the vehicle is a Vixen in name would have attracted her to it!
But I can certainly see why she'd get a vehicle like that - it's like a motel with wheels!!
Cee may be a playful kitty, but her thoughtful side shines through in this story, too!
And I think we need a follow-up story to this one sometime. Who knows what Cee and Mara could get up to with their Vixen...?

Too true! Like she said, it's just so like totally cute! And as you can see on the pictures of several Vixens on that website I linked, it is indeed unbelievably luxurious in there as well. Not bad for a 1986 RV, mm?

And not only is Celeste absolutely enthused about having one, but I think I know of a certain fox who would not mind having a Vixen either, if only because it's called like that, right..?

With them now having this lovely vehicle, I think any future road trip stories I might come up with will certainly be a lot more interesting! And even though I had not really planned for anything special with that extra week of vacation Celeste had Mara taking for this road trip, I did in fact get an idea eventually that I think will work very well as an event happening in that extra week of the road trip, so... eyes pealed! There may be something in the air!

Isn't it? Haha, and you're so right! When i first saw the pictures, one of my first thoughts was of that too!
"Sir! We fixed the radar, sir. Now we're picking up the outline of a... winnebago?!"
Haha, I could see Celeste suddenly yanking the wheel and going "Hang on Barfo, we're gonna make space tracks!"
I really want one! Yeh! And I wouldn't have any troubles driving it, either; I have experience! I used to have a 1977 Spijkstaal electric bus; you know, "Leve de man van de SRV, van je hieperdepiep hoezee!" That thing was 11 metres long, 2 metres wide and 2.60 metres high... of course, it didn't go over 5km/u either
