It can be very risky setting things on fire... including yourself as the only thing keeping that mana in control is the mage willing their spirit. If you mess that up then all of that fire mana is going to go straight onto you or onto the ground, there are a lot of mages that have lit themselves on fire, or electrocuted themselves, froze themselves, etc.
