I think it's unfair cows get all the credit like the favorite farm animal. Kids go to school and are taught about the cow and how important they are, and that it gives us milk and everything. But goats are also in farms, they also give us milk (and delicious cheese, too) and they don't get the attention they deserve. Or something. So I went and drew one.
Actually, this pic came out as a sort of 'practical demonstration on how to draw a gazelle without drawing a deer or a goat' thing. As you know, I'm considering a comic featuring gazelles, and I don't want them to appear looking like -this- but like gazelles. So I went and put in a paper what I don't want them to look like. And the results, as you can see, bleats by itself.
Still, I know goats aren't this cute in real life, but you know my tendence to cutify everything to unbearable levels. Also OMFG teats.

Goats get a bad rap. I think it's because they have Kermit the Frog pupils and that creeps people out. My folks used to raise goats as a hobby... they're a lot cleaner and smarter than cows, although the milk isn't something I'd personally recommend. (As PuppyFluff already mentioned, the cheese ain't bad, though.)
I am a security guard. it is the custom of security agencys to provide the uniforms for their guards. the middle weather jacket is usually lined with a dark blue fur collar. I asked what kind of animal provided that dark blue fur. no one knew. some wag in an art room said it was from an "Indigoat". so I have a character form of an indigoat ever since.
