Had a buyer come by and order something off the special menu. Something that went farther than even my Next Lvl Commissions.

Here we have Nick Wilde in a custom wrestling outfit, He is meant to be a rich, pretty boy heel archtype, so that influenced much of the design. I wanted to have his vanity on full display so I gave him a costume build that allows him to show off his mug, flaunt his status and still look as smug as possible.

Digital paintings are a lot of work, and you can see the detail work I put in when you zoom in on the image. I really put into practice what I’ve learned in some of my recent personal work to pull this one together. Fur texture, clothing detail and lighting control all contribute to an expressive and vibrant image.

This one came out pretty great. I couldn’t be happier with the execution. Plus, who am I to deny the ladies a chance to gawk at shirtless Nick? Deep down, its what we all want.
