We had a health nut make Peas "Guacamole" and bring it to a pot luck.

It certainly tasted like PEE.

I can NEVER eat peas again.

Aw man, pea's are my favorite veggie. You gotta have mashed potatoes at the same time, and you get some potato on your fork and dip it in the peas to get some on there too. Fit for a king.
That being said, its easy to get peas very wrong. For instance, eating canned peas is pretty much a non starter. Easiest way is to get the frozen steam in bag kind, they'll come out right.

The thing about peas is the morons that try to make you eat them all alone.
Peas by themselves taste like shit, peas when properly prepared in combination with other foods are awesome! Peas with carrots and fried rice, awesome! Peas with other vegetables and meats in soups/stews, fantastic! Peas as part of my chicken/beef pot pies, excellent!
