This is amazing, you did such a beautiful job on it! The characters look so great together and that background is just something to die over!
I’m glad you like it ^_^ The background was one big experiment and I had so much fun with it. And I love the characters 💙
Firstly, I took a bit of inspiration from scenery I’ve seen while hiking for the hills and forest. Experimented with a lot of the nature/plant themed brushes in IbisPaint. For the sky I actually mixed in a photo of the Milky Way (along with some sparkle brushes lol).
I also figured out how to use color balance and special effects, and I finally understand why the app is so well known for those. Before then I had to do any color changes in Sketchbook (now I just use that for lineart or really big image files)
Mostly just figuring out how to use things in the program that I didn’t realize were there before. It’s one of the first drawings where I focused more on the scenery than the characters (I love the dinos, don’t worry haha, I just got carried away with the background idea you gave)
