It was a frosty winter morning as Mhuni awoke to his bedroom light being flicked on; the lion groaned and rolled onto his stomach, the crinkling of his heavy night time diapers alerting him to the wetness on his fur, and on his sheets.
"Wake up! If you don't get up now you won't have time for breakfast before the bus comes!" His mother scolded, Mhuni pushed himself up off the mattress groggily and sighed at the dripping diaper. Another morning waking up not just wet but leaking.

His mother sighed sympathetically, he had been having night time issues ever since he went into year ten, and the stress of exams caught up to him, occasionally, these issues would stretch into the day time hours as well; what with teachers not letting students use the restroom as and when they needed.
"A shower and a change seems to be the first thing in order though... you might not have time for breakfast anyway..."

Mhuni had just scraped by with a shower, a change and breakfast, only just making the bus whilst running in ankle-deep snow; he knew that the snow would be at least waist high at school and the headmaster was bound to close it. however, he hopped on the bus and watched as the street lights made the snow glimmer and sparkle in the morning darkness.

His phone buzzed in his inside pocket as he eavesdropped into a pair of year 8's conversation; it was his mum.
[Are you wearing your diaper?]
He rolled his eyes she was a bugger for checking, even when he was at school.
[Yup]
He responded, the conversation of the year 8's, two foxes, had drifted to the weather.

He unzipped his trousers, fortunately, the back of the bus was empty, so he could get away with a quick photo.

"Man it's freezing!" The male fox astonished as Mhuni watched the texting bubble create ellipsis.
"I know right! If this snow keeps up, they'll close school!" The female fox responded as the bubble stopped and the text came through.
[Good Boy]

Mhuni smiled, he always loved praise, no matter who it came from, he zipped is trousers back up as quietly as he could and waited, either for the driver to stop because the roads wearn't gritted or for the bus to reach school.
