I mean, you kinda already did see that...
This does seem like a really lame supervillain's doing--create pants with weak seams in the back so when overweight animals bend over, their pants rip and reveal whatever silly underwear they happen to be wearing! Maybe it's a ploy to sell more pants because they rip and require replacing.
But, Sidney's a lawyer, so he can sue them! He might not be able to fight a supervillain in some glorious one-on-one battle, but he can definitely fight them in court!
