This Round’s Nominee has played for Australia in Rugby Union but gave it all up when one of the team leaders made the locker room a toxic environment for him. Since then, He has transferred his skills to Aussie Rules, been mentored by former Gold Coast player Dwayne Payne, Come out as Gay and has been drafted by Brisbane.

This season, Our nominee for Round 15 has been waiting for a breakout game but after a spell out of the team, He came back into the team this round and played a belter! With 27 disposals, 17 kicks, 10 handballs, 13 marks, 1 goal and 4 tackles in Brisbane’s game against Hobart. It had to be only one player, It is of course Jeremy Chadwick, Former Wallaby Test Player and Current Player for the Brisbane Brumbies. He is our 2020 Jimmy Newman Medal Nominee for Round 15.
