In an alternate reality where Tigerville is located in one of the Indonesian isles, Angelo would be a sun bear instead of a polar bear because sun bears are an endemic species in that area, also, they're well adapted to the southeastern asian rainforest, something that polar bears couldn't achieve.

As a sun bear, Angelo would be smaller than the average bear, with an awfully long tongue, but his love and affection to Maryann would still be as big as in his default reality and he, due to his size, could use his couple's belly as a bed.
