A design for a weapon from my Mad Ventures story line. This is basically a HEAVILY modified wrench, filled with all sorts of gadgets and gizmos. It includes a forcefield multi-tool in the head and a compact plasma sword in the butt: opening the handle unlocks the mode change. The multi-tool is capable of emulating numerous workshop tools, while the plasma sword's usage is limited to around thirty seconds to one minute on a full charge. The power cell in the middle of the handle can be charged in one of two ways: either it can be plugged into a power outlet, or it can be recharged via the kinetic generator in the handle. The forcefield projectors also reinforce the handle to allow it to be used as a heavy club in combat. Controls for the various systems are mounted on the handle.

Yeah, a concept for a weapon, as I said. I am aware that this is not too feasible or practical of a weapon, but I'm gonna work on the weapon's ruggedness for the next concept. Oh, and before anyone asks, no, you cannot accidentally activate the sword in wrench mode.

Also, I fail at internal mechanical diagrams, but then again, this wasn't serious design work, just showing the general placement.
