During these stressful times, sometimes it’s necessary to shut out the news and media, tweets, and social media posts that add unnecessary stress. However, on the other paw, we need to keep ourselves informed and use our senses to acknowledge the reality that we’re living in, the 150,000+ US lives lost and many more around the world, global climate change, the black lives matter movement, the international relations in the world.... we need to be aware and be able to talk about these things.

But we also must be able to aware of the small miracles in life: how in times of crisis and hardship people are helping one another and being cooperative, frontline people are putting themselves in risk in order to help others, how even after a blazing fire in Australia new life is growing.
