Mari sat by the small spring, the vast growth of bamboo and vegitation giving shade, desperate for a rest.
her flight through the night had left the vixen exhausted, but the scent of Scale Folk about left her feeling nervous.

Her plan was to escape Koshinko if she could, or find someplace to hide. someplace she could stay hidden for the years to come.

She shook herself as she felt weariness creeping upon her.
"must stay awake" she told herself.
