Back when I was maybe six and I was playing Ocarina of Time, which was my first Zelda game, I got to the Sacred Forest Meadow and saw this motherfucker for the first time. Keep in mind I didn't really know what wolves were yet, and mistook the tongue for a knight's plume, so this is what I thought the Wolfos was: a Blair Witch looking knight that shrieked and chased you effortlessly on all fours. For what felt like a long time I was genuinely afraid of the entryway to the Sacred Forest Meadow.
