"So I'm a ride operator at one of 4 theme parks in So. Cal, (if you know me you know exactly which one, but I can't put it or they'll find me o.o IT services is nazi there)
"Anyway, I work on a river rapids ride there, and part of the day I spend up in a tower watching stupid people go by in the rafts, sticking their hands out, standing up, and just generally being stupid. All of these things could very well hurt them severely (I'm just waiting for the day someone falls out of the boat), so it's MY job to sit there with a mic and an E-stop button to remind them to sit down, keep their seat belt on, and if need be stop the ride if they fall out.
"... day in, day out, "Please remain seated", "Please keep your hands inside the boat," "NO sir, PLEASE don't hold your child outside the boat!" etc. etc... it gets really annoying.
"So yeah, this is what I want to do some days, and if I'm lined up to be fired, this will probably be my parting shot... -_-"
