Located in what was once one of Lexington, Kentucky's first power stations is this turn of the century industrial crane. It dates back to somewhere around 1913 when the plant was first built. Located in what was once the main turbine hall this was used to lift heavy turbine parts into place when the plant was in operation.
Today the crane STILL works and is used to haul around large transformers as the power station was converted into an equipment testing lab.
