I blame this squarely on Pirates of the Caribbean. Although I actually had the character before the movie came out, it's what inspired me to draw this particular picture. I'm quite happy with how it came out, except for one minor detail.

Stupid scanner artifacts! I need a way to get rid of that dark shadow at the top. My scanner is just a tad too small to fit my drawing pad into.
