Bonito "Bonnie" Raccoon (Updated)
SO, I MESSED UP BIG TIME WHEN I MADE THIS GUY
I was offline and (mostly) avoided art sites to keep myself from spending money on commissions, as I'm on a budget now :( (and because I needed a mental health break) and I made Bonnie (who I named after the FNaF character and a pun on "Cinnabon", since he's... a... cinnamon... raccoon...........) randomly, on a whim, after seeing a post of one on Tumblr and endlessly hankering for a raccoon character after seeing SO MANY on Twitter! I gave him the full name of "Bonito" (after the tasty, tasty fish) later.)
(I fucked up because I didn't realize my friend (not sure if he wants me to namedrop 😬) had a brown raccoon before me with that name... 😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬)
(I'm sorry, dude... What should I do? This has been bothering me for days and I don't know how to handle it. I can figure out another name if it's a problem! I just didn't want to ignore the elephant in the room anymore.)
(This is such a Dennis the Menace situation. Like, it's too insane to be a coincidence, but I'd never just blatantly steal your character like that.)
Outside of my major naming fuck-up, do you guys like his design?
I tried to give him a unique look, but I'm never sure how my new designs go over on here until I get crickets.
His mask was the most complicated part.
I kept fiddling with it until I got to this "ribbon" design, but you know... That's always how it is for me. 😆
I was going to ask about the tail, but I like the contrast between it and his main body color now.
I ended up getting lazy with the ref. I gave him an age now, though.

Mine's Boniface, which is French, and yours is a Spanish name. Plus, them both being Bonnie/Bonni for short is fine, too! I'm totally cool with this, no worries at all <3333

Oh god, you have no idea how my blood pressure went down after reading that. I was on edge all night after posting this, because I was afraid I'd seem like a back-stabbing snake after we finally got to talk again and... THIS happened.
I never got the chance to check online first before naming him or I wouldn't have done it.
I recall when I first saw him was your avatar on Twitter. I was like: "Wow, Sunshine has a brown raccoon, too?! I need to find the ref!" It wasn't on Twitter, so I ran to ToyHou.se and when I found him, I've never felt such a sudden rush of fear in my life. 😨
I panicked for a week about this. I just posted him on deviantART and hoped everything would work out. But, I don't blame you for not seeing him; at least for me, the site is super buggy and barely works. I hate it. :3
So, I finally just put on my big boy pants posted him here, as we've been talking and braced for the worst...
I think my history of bullying and misunderstandings has me on edge with everyone, I'm sorry. Deep down, I figured you wouldn't be upset, but at the same time, I felt my explanation wouldn't be enough. How do you explain this?!
But, seriously, I'm sorry. I don't mean to keep making you feel like you'd chew my ear off every time I do something.

I was thinking of doing that Spider-Man meme. I've been wanting to draw that for a while now. XD

I love his name... Along with German later, I was originally trying to learn French, so French names are gorgeous to me... 💖💖💖💖💖 (wait, it's Spanish? I... Never looked it up past that. I'm a mess all around. I think I wasn't trying to get attached to it anymore. 😶)
Bonito has 500 nicknames, because I'm immature and silly. XD (Bon-Bon, Bonfire, Ham Bon-er...) But, yes, nickname bros!
