This was inspired by both Rigby's original color scheme and the variant pin I made.

Yes, Rigby was originally going to have purple on him, but I suck at mixing colors like that and chickened out in the end. Instead, he looks the best at having one solid dominant color and various shades of it.

When I made the variant pin, it was intentionally supposed to look like an "evil" mirror version of Rigby. The purple coloring just made him seem... corrupted you know?

He has pink eyes because red is so basic now. 😒


(That and so I can show him to my mom without her freaking.)

I originally intended for his right paw to be a "gun" of sorts (and the flame was supposed to be the "smoke" coming from it), but I like drawing big flames... :(



I keep feeling like I should try to animate his tail swishing back and forth like Mewtwo, while he's floating/levitating/bobbing feet above the ground, looking down upon ye weak mortal fool who dares to challenge him.
