one thing of you decide to purchase it: there is a tricky thing with the fuel injection. the injector valves hate to stand around and thus can get hopelessly clogged with fuel residue (yes, fuel does not vapour away without leavign somethign behind). you might end up buying a new set of them and some fuel injection system parts. also, you might want to look for brake hoses and cylinders, coolant hoses and such, depending on the car's general maintenance situation.
but still, those cars are beautiful, even for a Fordoholic like me. :)

Convertible and all that jazzy shit. It'd be pretty nice after about $20,000.
Some states DMV/BMV's allow for people to gain ownership of such things been abandoned and such, so you may want to check your laws on abandoned/side of road vehicles. Who knows, state might just give you a title and say "It's yours", assuming no one actually owns it (might have belonged to someone who is now deceased with no living relatives?).
