This is art done of a fanfic written by Miranda, set five years after the last battle, with Cassie and Marco at 21 going through some stormy times. The fic is gold, I promise.

You would not BELIEVE how hard "her eyes became glowing cat eyes, her teeth bloomed into shark teeth, and nothing else on her face changed" was to draw. Took five pages of sketches to prevent it from becoming grotesque instead of quietly scary.

I love the comic trope of holding your own speech balloon as an offering, but also? Cassie in the sixth panel, with just one eye changing, I wish I could make that my icon. That came out perfect.
