So, as I may make a journal of, my biological sister is triggered by my career as a porn artist and my entire (Calvinist) family has all but ordered me to not draw porn anymore. (As for the future of this account: What I will draw, I will draw. I wasn't drawing half as much porn lately since HRT, that wasn't the result of a ban.)
But earlier, I talked to my soul sister Ozma
Furelyse about whether our families would ever come together, or whether our siblings would accept being a soul sister as a legitimate relationship. And I drew this because the saddest of words are "it might have been."
Ozma on the left, then me, showing vinyl to my needlehooping biological sister, and then Ozma's biological sibling (enby!) is the swan. It seemed to suit them. And my... tulpa, apparition, whatever, the nonexistent cat who calls herself my sister of another sort, Azure, at our feet.
(I kept meaning to ask my sister if she wanted to be a beagle, like I draw our mother's side, or an ermine like I draw my dad's side (mustelids). These days I just draw a cartoony halfway. I tried drawing her as an anon-face, once, but it didn't work at all. And if she asks, I'll remind her that I'm not making her a human because drawing real people's faces, in my autobiographical work, is a no-go.)
Sleepovers (and trust) mean a lot to me, and I miss them so much. You fluffy things stay frosty.
I kept meaning to put something in that poster, and in that LP sleeve. Perhaps someday I shall.

There's a palpable, genuine sweetness to this, especially you, your sister, and Ozma; her sibling's literary focus gives me a chuckle, as I could easily see myself in their position if I found a book that deeply caught my attention.
Sorry to hear about the familial censorship. I hope it has helped (and continues to) ease tensions a bit. At least, given that you've made less XXX material since starting HRT, that's less of a sacrifice than it could have been, so that's some solace, right?
