My parents have a place in Eldorado (an unincorporated quasi-suburb of Santa Fe, for those unfamiliar) and I'm occasionally called on to housesit for them when they go on vacations and such. Because the area is absolutely gorgeous, I always love doing it, and be sure to get photos whenever I can. It's always striking to see the difference in reaction between me and anyone else when looking at them--there's a very striking and distinctive visual style to the area that I'm just so used to by now that I hardly consider the possibility that it could be anything else anymore. Others are blown away by how much it looks like my parents live in a Wile E. Coyote cartoon, but this just looks normal to me.
One thing you can always count on for almost anywhere in New Mexico, but especially quiet rural areas like Eldorado, is the sky-related scenery. We have amazing thunderstorms, sunsets, etc.

The camera actually exaggerated this picture a little, if I recall correctly... in real life, things were just starting to get dim, but were still visible, and the sky was just starting to turn. Then, somehow, the picture rendered everything below the horizon pitch black and the sky this striking blue and pink.... I don't know enough about photography to explain why it did that, but it's a pretty picture, so hey. :3
