A few weeks ago I made some mask designs for myself! And for fun. They came in today and look neat so I guess I can go ahead and post em! They're white mouth/nose masks with Yoshi noses on em - I did em in red, orange, green, blue, and pink. If any yoshis want them in their specific color, let me know and I can add one to it. (:
I can't totally recommend these - the site, maybe for legal reasons, says the masks don't really help prevent anything - I imagine any mask and face covering is a good start, but I was a little bummed when I realized I can't really recommend it as something useful. But maybe just a little helpful and stylish? Better than nothing?
Redbubble's site kinda sucks but I'll link it anyway. I don't think I make money from these, and can't adjust the prices? I don't need the money though, I'm just glad to make fun fashionable masks cause... in the U.S. we're probably gonna have to wear them all year....

Generally, the masks we wear around don't do anything to protect you - the point is more to protect others. If you breathe completely unhindered, you could end up spreading the virus to people quite a bit more easily! But inhibited by a cloth mask, your AOE range is greatly diminished~
But yeah, when it comes to just protecting yourself, a cloth mask won't actually filter out anything. If someone breathes death upon you, theoretically some particles might get caught up in the fabric, but it certainly won't keep anything out of your eyes, or completely filter out any virus-carrying particulates.
Fashionable masks are cool though! If we all have to wear them, might as well get to stand out a bit~

Well, given the ongoing situation and poor reaction by leadership / social influencers, it is good to have some sort of face covering.
Truly, as I have come to understand, as long as the mask is capable of keeping liquid emmissions from one person from getting out in the open air, it is a win. (I got some masks that were made by locals from my hometown in Northwest PA)
Another thing, if I did not mention this earlier, is that people were using baby diapers as masks before any type of face masks were available. So, given this, I believe the ones you have are definitely as good, if not better, than wrapping a Pamper over your face. There was also a few people using Halloween masks and, truly, those things are made ultra-cheaply.
Any bit of protection that covers the nose and mouth is all you need to help make things better. Plus, having style, will at least make it seem like you are accessorizing over trying to make an improtu 'Bank Robber' outfit. :)

Yosh did you purposefully run out of masks so you could wear diapers on your face outside... huhuhuh.
It's actually kinda fun wearing masks outside! At least the combination of masks and glasses makes you feel sorta anonymous, or spooky! Either way, I think wearing them encourages others to wear them. At work customers often seem to be excited and relieved if someone here don't wear one, since they don't want to wear one. (the three of us don't around each other but do when customers start walking in.) But I imagine if customers go to every place without a mask, they're definitely who we should wear these around! And any bit helps. I imagine if this is going on for months, I had the time to make some fun colorful stylish ones!
