Good rendition of the tale, though perhaps you can think more on the ending for more ommff, but it is fine as it is. My favorite part of this is humans as the divine or the fae, that stuff I dig hard.

Thank you, sir! Endings and starts are my main problems but I'm studying with a published author on a very ancient story of mine and he's already fixed the start of it. I can see what I did wrong, and hopefully, I can do better in the future. I have another story coming, based on another folklore. It's in stage 3b now (just reading it back to me) and stage 4 in a day or so with my beta readers. Maybe by Thursday, I'll have it posted.

Since I also have a lot of these frivolous things done, I'm freeing up time to read others' works. I'm going through your gallery and putting them on my phone to read. Also (ahem) got Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time book #1" at Goodwill, to see if it's worth my time. (we actually had the complete series in HB for sale at once, but I resisted the desire to buy all of them :).

Well good glad your learning about them. Beginnings and ends are the most important part of a book what an audience enters and leaves with.

Agreed, and I'm trying. I think I got the 'mystery' one down. But it's always a challenge.

There is an old adage that if you don't read you don't write. It helps a lot.
